Nestled atop a woodland ridge in Westchester County, the design celebrates the intrinsic character of this unique site and compliments the architectural expression of the residence. The site features a series of rooms that range in perception of intervention. The visual and physical connections to the surrounding landscape are strengthened through meandering paths and curated vistas. The pool terrace and spa function as an extension of the architecture, creating harmony between and blurring the relationship between inside and out. To expand the range of experiences across the wooded landscape, the program also includes an open event lawn, greenhouse, custom fire pit and fire table, outdoor kitchen, and rain garden, each with their own sense of space and natural expression.
