The Park site is reimagined, reshaped, and reclaimed as a pedestrian amenity space to improve the quality of life for the town of Miami Lakes and its people.

 

The Miami Lakes Par 3 Park is a strategic rebranding effort by the Town of Miami Lakes to establish a neighborhood park for its current and future residents. Originally, large existing electrical poles presented a challenge. Our proposal mitigates this obstacle by incorporating a mid-story catenary structure that reinforces the new linear corridor, while establishing a playful element at a human scale. The re-imagined corridor will now become a pedestrian amenity space. Other improvements to the park include a community lake, open-lawn and boulder play areas, pedestrian and cycling paths, butterfly gardens, fitness stations, and fixed seating elements.
