The highest expression of a society is in its rendering of public space – the one arena in cities where all in a society are welcome, where one can become a fully represented citizen in the context of ones’ own government. Cities are also centers of culture – the destination where people go to experience the joy of food, art, customs, entertainment, beliefs and stories. The Mayor’s Office of the City of Baltimore acknowledges the powerful role that landscape plays in city-making, and is invested in a future for the Bromo Arts & Entertainment District (Bromo A&E District) which expresses the creative potential of the City of Baltimore.  Lou Arencibia was a Project Manager at Land Collective while working on this project.
