The new, destination hotel descends towards the valley, celebrating its topography while maintaining the continuity of the surrounding natural environment.

Neighboring the Musee Atelier Audemars Piguet, the Hôtel des Horlogers integrates itself seamlessly into the smooth topography of the scenic Vallee de Joux, known as the birthplace of Swiss watchmaking and the home to four renowned ski resorts. Five zig-zagging slabs expand themselves onto a gently sloping exterior roof garden path, where guests can experience the vast panoramas of the valley.​ Lou Arencibia was the Lead Designer and Project Manager for Audemar Piguet Hotel Des Horlogers during his tenure at BIG | Bjarke Ingels Group.
