LAFRENTZ ROAD

Located in Greenwich, CT, this site design draws references from the historical context to create a working family farm and horse ranch to compliment the contemporary, minimalist architecture.

Each part of the site, from the plantings to the programming was arranged to frame important views into and out of the site and heighten the program experience.  Through thoughtful collaboration with the client and architect, OLA was able to accommodate a range of site programming without detracting from pastoral language of the site.

The simple entry drive is enclosed by rows of large canopy trees, leading guests to a lush entry garden.  A single, visual connection through the house, the main entry leads guests from the front of the house to the back, through the event lawn where they are welcomed with a tree-framed view of the lake beyond.
